Cadora. Last updated 7 July 2026.
Cadora is a mobile app that acts as a general manager for trade and service businesses with staff. It keeps a memory of your business, runs a weekly rhythm, and gives advice based on what it knows about you. This policy explains what data the app handles, why, and how long it keeps it. It applies to the Cadora app only.
You sign in with your email address and a password. Your password is handled by our secure authentication provider and Cadora never sees or stores it in readable form. We store your email address to identify your account. We do not use it for marketing unless you separately opt in.
Cadora remembers your business between sessions in what the app calls your Business Brain. This holds only what you choose to tell it: things like your trade, your goals, your regular jobs, your rough numbers and your priorities. It is business information you enter yourself. It is stored to your account and only you can read or change it.
When you have a session, the messages you type and the relevant parts of your Business Brain are sent to Anthropic, the company that makes the Claude model, so it can generate the reply. Anthropic processes that content to return the answer. Cadora does not use your sessions to train any model. We store a running count of how much you use the app so no single account can run up an unexpected bill, but that count is just numbers, not the content of what you wrote.
If you subscribe and connect an outside tool such as Google Calendar, Cadora reads only what that connection is for. For Google Calendar it reads your events so the rhythm can land around what is booked, and it uses read-only access. You connect through the provider's own secure sign-in. Cadora never sees or stores your provider passwords. The access tokens that let the connection work are held on secured servers that the app itself has no permission to read, and they are deleted when you disconnect. Accounting and bank connections are planned and are not active in this version.
Paid subscriptions are sold and billed through the Apple App Store and Google Play. Payment is handled by the store and by our subscription provider. Cadora never sees or stores your card or bank details. We receive only a confirmation of whether your subscription is active, which is what unlocks the paid features.
Cadora is building a way to show you how your business compares with similar ones, for example how your revenue tracks against other businesses of a similar size in your trade and country. To do that we keep a small, separate set of facts about the shape of your business: the trade you picked from our list, your country, roughly how many people work in the business, and the monthly revenue and target figures you choose to log.
These are only ever used in aggregate. What you would see is a position or a band, such as "ahead of most", never another business's actual numbers, and a comparison is only ever shown when a group is large enough that no single business in it could be identified. Your business name, your Business Brain, your sessions and your customers are never part of this, and we do not hold your street address, suburb or postcode for it. You can switch it off in the app at any time, which stops both the comparison being shown to you and your figures counting towards anyone else's.
Data is used only to run the features you install the app for: your Business Brain, the weekly rhythm and reminders, the general manager's advice, the progress and streak features, the anonymous comparison described above, and any connections you turn on. We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not build profiles of you to sell.
Data is stored on secured servers used to run the app. Access is limited to operating the service. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections.
Your data is deleted within 30 days of you deleting your account. You can ask us to remove your data sooner by emailing the address below. Disconnecting a connection removes its stored tokens straight away.
You can request a copy of the data the app holds about you, or ask for it to be deleted, at any time. Send the request to the contact email below and we will action it.
Cadora is a business tool and is not directed at children. It is not intended for anyone under the age required to run a business in their region.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date at the top.
